Meditating for Creativity, Relaxation, and Visualization

Meditating on fairies is a relaxing, creative way to embrace one's inner child, while escaping the pressures and stresses of day-to-day life.

There are many serious purposes for meditation. Bible meditation is used for prayer by many practitioners, while others use meditation for medical reasons. Still others reap the paranormal benefits of meditation and use it to increase their psychic abilities.

As wonderful as all of the above reasons for meditation are, sometimes, meditation can just be used as a creative outlet and a form of fun. Fairy meditation is a visualization meditation that allows one to just "let go" and enjoy a mediation fully for the pleasure of it. Visualization meditation is a good way to help increase a person's imagination, along with allowing a person to experience relaxation.

A Creative, Visualization Mediation Technique

As with any meditation, the basics are the same. Find a place to sit, while keeping the back straight, and begin to take long, deep breaths. Don't think of anything except the breath. It's important to allow one's self to become as relaxed as possible.

Next, begin to imagine what the fairy world looks like. Envision all of the different, vibrant colors. Experience the beauty and the magic of fairies. Try to see fairies fluttering around beautiful, colorful flowers like tulips and roses.

How to Become a Fairy During Meditation

Once having an image of the fairy world in mind, begin to envision the transformation of becoming a fairy. Think about feeling light and free. Feel the growth of wings sprouting. See yourself lifting off the ground and flying around with other fairies in the fairy world amongst the colorful flowers.

Allow yourself to experience all of the freedom that fairies have, along with all of the magical images that fairies evoke.

Making a Wish with Meditation

Take a moment to think of a wish. Send this wish out to the fairy world. It's best to make a wish for someone else. It could be as simple as asking for a certain individual to have a nice day. Legend has it that fairies grant wishes.

When finished experiencing the fairy world, merely take a few moments to come back to everyday life. One should feel refreshed after this meditation.

No matter what one believes when it comes to fairies, if feeling good at the end of this meditation, then just give a word of thanks and know that this visualization meditation has done what it was meant to do, which is just to allow a person to be creative and have some fun.
